From May 31st to June 2nd, 2022, the retail technology industry will meet again in Düsseldorf after a year-long break. Visitors can look forward to a cornucopia of innovations, as they lacked the appropriate stage for showcasing them in 2021.
Bütema AG is also exhibiting - in Hall 9, Booth A25. Our focus this time is on digital signage and self-service applications.
Micro Apps
One of our highlights will be the Mirco Apps: this feature enables every user to design interactive applications themselves. You can choose from a wide range of actions (e.g. 'play a video', 'open a website', 'open a flip-through catalog', and much more). The interactive applications contain any number of levels through which the end user can navigate. The areas that are supposed to trigger actions by tapping them are defined by 'shapes'. An action is then assigned to each shape.
Communication Center & Announcements
The InStore Assistant App is getting a comprehensive update for the internal corporate communication: the Communication Center works like any messenger app you're already familiar with. But it can do even more: in addition to text messages and images, application and process information can also be sent within the chat. For example, article detail pages or omnichannel tasks such as putting together a Click & Collect order can be easily shared in the chat.
Teams and subordinate channels can be defined in the 'announcements', which can be adapted accordingly using fine-grained rights hierarchies. This innovation arose from the desire to offer "top-down communication".
NEWS TICKER FOR DIGITAL SIGNAGE APPLICATIONS
With the integration of a digital news service provider, we're expanding our product portfolio by another major component. News from the areas of top news, sports news, VIP news, weather, and more can now be integrated into our customers' digital signage feeds.

Weitere Highlights der Messe werden die neuentwickelten Digitalen Wegweiser sein, die vor allem in Kaufhäusern mit mehreren Etagen zum Einsatz kommen. Sie können mit einem touch-fähigen Bildschirm ausgestattet sein via dem z.B. die Sprache geändert werden kann. Außerdem stellen wir kleine, aber ultraflexible Flic Bluetooth-Knöpfe vor und für welche vielseitigen Einsatzbereiche diese dienen. Ein weiterer Fokus wird auf dem Thema Digital Signage liegen: neue Bildschirme, neue Features, neue Inspirationen und Anwendungsbeispiele werden unseren Messestand Mai/Juni 2022 bereichern.
