PROOF OF CONCEPT – WHAT IT IS AND HOW IT WORKS

As a full-service provider for digital signage and mobile ERP hardware and software, we specialize in customers with a lot of (store) space. The required software and hardware licenses therefore have a corresponding scope and the investments are usually large. In most cases, we therefore start our project with a so-called proof of concept.

WHAT IS A PROOF OF CONCEPT AND WHY DO WE (AND YOU!) NEED ONE?

A PoC serves to prove the actual feasibility of a theoretically developed or presented concept. Proof of concepts can also be referred to as pitches. The feasibility of an idea is proven based on selected branches of the customer/prospect. Since this requires the use of time, software and hardware, PoCs are often associated with high costs for the customer - without them having the certainty whether the concept actually delivers what it promised.

HOW DOES A PROOF OF CONCEPT WORK WITH BÜTEMA AG?

Our customers and interested parties often approach us with a specific problem or an idea on the basis of which we develop a PoC.

From our hardware pool, we can provide the devices best suited to the idea quickly and without a long lead time; These are then connected to our demo system and the customer or prospect can immediately test them and see how their customers and employees accept the solutions. We can map all mobile digital signage and many self-service (= touch) displays; Since the latest release, thanks to the Info-Point Designer, much more is possible here without requiring a direct, costly connection to the customer's merchandise management system.
The customer gets his own access to the demo system of our digital signage software and can test it for up to 4 months to his heart's content. On request, we also offer also a short training course on top.

This eliminates the high initial costs for a classic digital signage proof of concept and ideas and requests can be quickly implemented and tested on the customer's premises.
