The InStore Assistant App (ISA) is the linchpin of the Bütema solutions. With its help, various processes in retail are initiated, both in customer service and in mobile merchandise management. The ISA is an irreplaceable tool for the day-to-day work of retail employees. In the following, we explain in detail which processes the app can assist with.

The InStore Assistant and logistics processes

  • Outgoing goods & delivery: All shipping methods can be processed with the app. Whether entire deliveries of goods, pallets or individual items - everything is possible with one click.
  • Incoming goodsWith the InStore Assistant app, individual items as well as complete truckloads can be collected at once.
  • Redistribution: Relocations happen from branch to branch, or from branch to online shop. This ensures, for instance, that an item that sells better online than offline is quickly and easily assigned to the inventory of the online shop.
  • Returns by branch & HQ: For example, a branch manager or the purchasing department collects goods in the central warehouse in order to then redistribute them to the branches.
  • Storage & Seasonal storage: Seasonal goods such as Christmas items are stored until the next sales season. Items that are not tied to a season are stored temporarily, for example if there is no space in the store's warehouse area.
  • Label printing: Hang tags, price labels, insert labels or carton stickers can easily be reprinted on the item detail page. Stored label formats can be selected in the print dialog, as well as the number of labels to be printed. The mobile label printers can be connected to any device on which an InStore Assistant is installed by scanning a QR code.
  • List printing: Even "large" printers for DIN A4 and DIN A3 editions can be linked to the InStore Assistant app. For example, delivery and return slips, inventory lists, picking lists, etc. can be printed directly from the app.

The InStore Assistant and Communication

  • Communication Center: Built as a classic chat feature, text messages can be written and files can be sent here. New messages appear as a push pop-up in the ISA app. All application and process information can also be sent. This can be, for example, article details, click & collect orders or media from the digital signage media library.
  • Announcements: The announcement feature is structured as a top-down communication and is intended to be able to communicate information quickly and easily within the team. This type of communication is particularly suitable for company information from management that is intended to reach a large number of employees.
