With this solution, we at Bütema AG combine sensor technology, digital signage, and intelligent content control to create an interactive shopping experience that works—for customers and retailers alike.
Lift & Play is based on an intelligent LiDAR sensor system that is attached directly to the product shelf. The shelf is divided into up to 24 zones. Each individual zone monitors and counts the products placed there in real time.
As soon as a customer takes a product from the shelf, the sensor detects this movement. Appropriate content is automatically played on the corresponding digital signage display—for example:

The content displayed responds directly to specific product interest. This significantly increases the relevance of the communication.
