

Steinway & Sons, the world's leading manufacturer of upright and grand pianos, opened a pop-up store in Stuttgart's Dorotheen Quartier in November 2023. Open from November 4, 2023, to January 5, 2024, the store aimed to showcase the company's tradition, expertise, and history, as well as its exclusive products, in a unique space. Given the displays already installed on site, the idea arose to enhance them with digital elements and intensify the customer experience.
Steinway & Sons wanted to use the pop-up store not only to showcase its high-quality instruments, but also to create an experience where music, history, and technology seamlessly merge. To realize this vision, the company decided to commission Bütema AG as its partner for the technical implementation and integration of digital elements.
Bütema took care of the provision, installation, and programming of the digital displays in the store. Particular attention was paid to optimally showcasing the high-quality video material from Steinway & Sons. A total of six displays were equipped with Bütema AG's digital signage software, which ensured first-class presentation and smooth playback of the content. Customers were not only able to admire the exclusive grand pianos, but also immerse themselves in Steinway's rich history and artistic vision.

The pop-up store proved to be a successful combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovative digital technology. Thanks to Bütema's digital signage solution, the Steinway & Sons brand experience was taken to a whole new level. Customers enjoyed an interactive environment that impressed both visually and acoustically.
