Interview with Mario Amthauer, CEO aporadix GmbH
aporadix is a competent digital architect for on-site pharmacies. We use digitization as a motor for pharmacies. With a clear distinction from standardized digitization concepts, aporadix will concentrate even more on personal advice to pharmacies in the future. The pharmacy customer is our focus.
Together with Bütema AG, aporadix equips a steadily growing number of pharmacies with digital solutions. Digital signage screens, a video wall and the digital signage book are currently in use.
Hello Mr. Amthauer, thank you very much for taking the time for our short interview. Why is it important that pharmacies also dare to take the step towards full digitization?
M. Amthauer: The digital age offers pharmacies new opportunities to network and simplify work processes. Digitization brings a significant increase in efficiency and thus an improvement in profitability. The focus is on working out the strengths and potentials of the pharmacy in their respective environment as well as the implementation of specific concepts. The criterion for success is effectiveness: Will my pharmacy be seen and found? Will my previous investments be noticeable? Do you not only generate sales and earnings, but also the acquisition and loyalty of customers? And above all: does the pharmacy team's competence also come across appropriately via digital media? aporadix thus combines the digital approach with the human factor. Pure digitality would make everything the same. On the other hand, people make the difference. Digitization has to serve the people - the team in the pharmacy and above all the customers.
