Many of you may (already) work with Microsoft Teams. Especially during the pandemic and the associated relocation of the workplace to the home office, Teams plays a central role in internal corporate communication in many companies. The subdivision into different channels is essential; each channel also has its own chat where all team members can post and comment.
This structure inspired our product development team to create a similar feature for the Bütema InStore Assistant App and the sovia Backstore. This tool is intended, for example, for information from a regional manager or the management to reach a large number of employees.
The 'announcements' feature behaves as intuitively as teams: channels can be created, to which any messages can then be subordinated. The messages in turn consist of a text message and can also contain attachments, e.g. images, PDFs or videos and other files. Messages can then also be commented on.
