The Wangen Specialty Clinics have modernized their internal and external communications. In collaboration with Wedeko, a brand of Bütema AG, they have implemented a digital signage system that provides patients, visitors, and staff with reliable and up-to-date information as part of their daily clinic routine.
Information in clinics must be clear, understandable, and always up to date. At the Wangen Specialized Clinics, communication has so far relied primarily on static notices, which could only be updated after considerable time and effort.
At the same time, the goal was to create a solution that would blend seamlessly into the existing architecture without disrupting the clinic’s daily operations. In addition to patient information, internal communication also played an important role.

The focus was on a solution that serves both informational and navigational purposes and can be flexibly adapted to different applications.
In the lobby, a central information board featuring three Professional Displays was installed above the reception desk. It serves as a central hub for the latest announcements, events, and organizational information.
An additional portrait-oriented display has been installed at the bistro entrance; it serves as a digital menu and displays additional content. A metal enclosure protects the system and ensures reliable operation in daily use.
Additional displays at other locations within the hospital expand the system and ensure that information is available throughout the facility. All content is managed centrally and can be updated at short notice.
The digital information solution ensures clear and up-to-date communication throughout the entire building. Patients and visitors can find relevant information more quickly and navigate the facility with greater ease.
At the same time, staff benefit from simplified content management and consistent information presentation. The solution is in continuous use and reliably supports the hospital’s day-to-day operations.
The project demonstrates how digital signage can be used in a practical way within the healthcare sector to organize information flows and improve wayfinding for patients and visitors.
The combination of strategically placed displays, centralized control, and unobtrusive integration into the surroundings exemplifies the approach taken by Wedeko, a brand of Bütema AG.
