This innovation combines state-of-the-art RFID technology with self-service solutions and offers retailers a pioneering way to offer their customers a faster and more convenient shopping experience.
Efficiency through automation
The RFID checkout tray significantly simplifies the payment process. Customers simply place their items in the RFID-enabled tray next to the self-checkout terminal. The system automatically recognizes the products using RFID technology and transmits the data directly to the terminal. There, customers can pay using familiar payment methods such as debit and credit cards or gift vouchers. It is up to the retailer whether customers then unpack and wrap the items themselves or whether this is done by supervisory staff.
